Meet the Team

Marvin Hays DVM, born and raised in New Mexico. He is one of eight siblings. After high school Hays worked  on the mexico border inspecting cattle. He married his wife, Joy Mailynn in 1986 they have three daughters and a son. They continued working on a ranch for thirteen years. That is when Hays made the big decision of going back to school, going into the field of veterinary medicine. Beginning their journey at NMSU college. Hays, continued his farrier work and horse training to support himself through his schooling, along with raising border collies with his family. He then continued on finishing his degree at OSU and WSU. After graduating Hays and his family returned to the land of enchantment and he now owns his own practice, serving both small animal and large animals. His passions are working with horses and livestock, but enjoys helping the companion animals heal and stay healthy. Hays' children are now grown with families of their own, all three girls work in the animal field and his son has a degree as a mechanical engineer from New Mexico Tech in Socorro. Hays has 11 grand-kids and dreams one day that one of them will follow his footsteps as a fellow associate.

Being around animals her whole life, Catrina excels at the needs of hospitalized pets. She is also known in our office as the Chihuahua whisperer. She is trained in all task relating to the clinic and is the go to for any of our staff.

When Mrs. Hays was a girl she dreamed of becoming a Veterinarian, instead she married one. She has supported the clinic and Dr. Hays in every way she could from working grave shift while Dr. Hays was in Veterinary School, to kennel care during his fellowship and then to helping manage their business. Even though she loves being involved her health has taken its toll so she helps her husband and daughters run the clinic from behind the scenes.

Knowing that pet care is just as important as medical, Bobby works hard to make sure the expenses are addressed. Traveling once month to help the business manage its needs. He also helps with the customer service in the billing department.

Being raised around animals, large and small all her life; she and her husband have there own little farm/ranch in beautiful Three Rivers NM. From four legged companions and livestock to reptiles and exotics, Brook Loves all animals. She has 3 children and her children love the experience they have caring and playing with all the critters.

Brook is the Office manager making sure the business is running effectively and smoothly. However, she helps make sure to fill in wherever she is needed working side by side her employees to make sure things are done properly, efficiently and that nothing is left undone.
